Sydnie's 5K Fun Run and Skate
Get ready for the third annual Fun Run on Saturday May 18, 2024 from 7:00 am - 9:30 am. We will be making a BIG mess to honor Sydnie Jones, who we lost in a tragic car accident in 2021. It was through this run that the funds were raised to build Highland Outdoor Ministry’s skate park (Syd’s Place) in downtown Blue Ridge. This year we are hoping to raise another $25,000 to help with operating costs, equipment, and future facility expansion as we continue to minister to the youth in our community, a mission that Sydnie longed to see come to fruition!
We are thrilled to announce this year we will be running a true 5K through downtown Blue Ridge, starting and finishing at Highland Outdoor Ministry.
After the run we will have food, music, and games set up for anyone wanting to stay and enjoy the day at HŌM. Bring your lawn chair and stay awhile! If you capture some good photos, be sure to tag us and share them. #highlandoutdoorministry

9:30 A.M. - Chic-Fil-A biscuits, corn hole, and music at HŌM.
